Luis Gonzalo Villa Juela

Jewelry Artisan

Luis Gonzalo Villa Juela began his journey in jewelry at just 13 years old, apprenticing under master jeweler Miguel Espinoza Naranjo. He continued to refine his craft through years of dedicated work in the workshops of Santiago Reiban and Nelson Vázquez López, building a strong foundation rooted in traditional techniques and hands-on experience.

Today, Luis carries that legacy forward in his own workshop, guided by both skill and gratitude. A pivotal moment in his path came when designer María José Galarza placed her trust in him as he began working independently—an opportunity that helped shape his confidence and direction as an artisan.

For Luis, jewelry is more than a profession; it is a meaningful process of transformation. With creativity, patience, and care, he turns raw materials into pieces that hold beauty and emotion. Each creation is made with intention, designed not only to be worn, but to bring joy to the person who receives it.

His work reflects a deep respect for craftsmanship, a commitment to growth, and a genuine love for the art of making.
